Maria Arias, otherwise know as "MidoriEmerald" on social media, is a self-taught digital artist. She is an illustrator, story writer, and aspiring animator who resides in California, United States. As of now she has an AA in Studio Arts.

Her work is character-centered and focused on story-telling, involving stylized character illustrations and environmental paintings. Maria draws inspiration from a colorful array of original characters and stories of her own creation as well as from a multitude of fun series and shows she's grown up loving. ​

Maria is a free spirit with a burning love for art, story-writing, travelling, adventure, and making fun memories.
